About the Role

Redline Engineering is seeking an experienced Programmer / CNC Machinist to join our team in Mordialloc, VIC. This is a full-time role where you will be responsible for programming and operating a range of CNC Turning Centres to manufacture high-precision parts and components.

Key Responsibilities

Program and operate a variety of CNC Turning Centres, including the latest DMG Mori NLX 2500 and Mazak Quick Turn Nexus 250MSY.

Read and interpret engineering drawings, diagrams, and specifications to determine the appropriate machining processes

Set up, adjust, and monitor CNC machines to ensure optimal performance and product quality

Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines to keep them running efficiently

Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and implement new manufacturing processes and techniques

Maintain detailed records of production data, tool usage, and machine maintenance

Skills & Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience as a CNC Machinist or Programmer in an Aerospace/Defence manufacturing environment

Strong working knowledge of CNC programming and operation, including Mazatrol, G-code and Mastercam CAM software preferred

Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications

Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to troubleshoot issues and optimise machine performance

Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work

Strong communication skills to collaborate with the engineering team and other stakeholders
