We have shifts immediate shifts available for morning, afternoon and night shift.

About us

The Oaks Aged Care Facility is an inviting comfortably appointed 39 bed facility located a short drive from the outskirts of Mount Gambier (Yahl, South Australia) providing residential aged care to our residents. Country at heart, the Oaks offers a true community spirit to those who call it home.

About you

  • Must have Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing)
  • Current NDIS Worker Check or willing to obtain one. Police check accepted until NDIS Worker Check can be provided.
  • Adaptable, keen and able to work as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal kills
  • Experience an advantage, but not essential

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Responsible for providing quality care to our residents including being responsive to reporting incidents and changes in residents behaviours to the Registered Nurse.
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering high standards of care.
  • Full working rights in Australia is a must
  • Highly desirable to be able to cover a variety of shifts, including nights.
  • Establishing positive relationships with our residents and working collaboratively within a team environment with an attitude of respect and integrity with a "can do" approach.
