The Oaks Aged Care Facility is an inviting comfortably appointed 39 bed facility located a short drive from the outskirts of Mount Gambier. Country at heart, the Oaks offers a true community spirit to those who call it home and offers our residents an invigorating and broad range of programs to enable residents a more fulfilling and stimulating lifestyle. Our caring staff provide a safe environment and encourage residents right to choose in all elements of their personal and clinical care.
Qualifications & experience
- Hold current AHPRA registration or equivalent. Excellent clinical assessment skills. Relevant clinical experience and understanding of the needs of aging population. Ability to work as part of a cohesive team. Understanding of Aged Care Quality standards
Tasks & responsibilities
- Planning and delivery of clinical care. Attend treatments and dressings. Assess clinical status of residents. Liaise with RN, clinical and allied health team members and family. Administer medications safely and complete relevant documentation. Report to Clinical Nurse and Director of Care.
