Join Nextt as a Christmas Casual Support Worker

Location: Newcastle and surrounding suburbs — Lake Haven, Cooranbong, Toukley, Morisset Park, Berkley Vale, Bensville, and Killarney Vale

This holiday season, make a real difference with Nextt. We're looking for compassionate and reliable Support Workers to help our clients stay comfortable, supported, and independent in their homes.

What you'll do:

  • Provide personal care and daily living support
  • Assist with medications
  • Support clients with mobility and transfers (including use of a sling hoist)
  • Assist with bowel and catheter care (training provided if required)
  • Complete documentation after each shift

Shift times vary depending on client needs and may include:

  • Morning: 6:30 AM – 10:30 AM | 7:30 AM – 10:00 AM | 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM
  • Lunch: 12:30 PM – 2:30 PM | 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
  • Afternoon/Evening: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM | 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM

What we're looking for:

  • A caring and professional attitude
  • Flexibility to work across different suburbs and shift times
  • Experience in disability or aged care (or a willingness to learn)
  • A current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
