CanDoIt Solutions is seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our growing team.

We deliver electrical, control, and automation solutions across manufacturing, agriculture, and Critical infrustructure — from greenfield sites to complex system upgrades.

This role is ideal for a qualified electrician with strong industrial experience, looking to work on diverse, challenging projects.

Key Responsibilities

· Install, test, and maintain industrial electrical systems and equipment.

· Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and cable schedules.

· Carry out control panel wiring, motor control centre installation, and VSD/PLC wiring.

· Perform fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs on electrical and control systems.

· Ensure all work complies with AS/NZS electrical standards and safety regulations.

· Support commissioning of new plant and equipment.

· Work alongside engineers, automation specialists, and project managers to deliver projects on time.

Required Skills & Experience

· Queensland Electrical Licence (Electrical Fitter/Mechanic).

· Proven industrial electrical experience in manufacturing, processing, or similar environments.

· Minimum 3-5 years proven industrial electrical experience in manufacturing, processing, or similar environments

· Strong knowledge of motor control, instrumentation, and industrial wiring practices.

· Ability to work from schematics and technical drawings with minimal supervision.

· Understanding of electrical safety standards and safe work practices.

· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

· Valid Australian driver's licence and reliable transportation

Nice to Have

· PLC and automation experience (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Omron, etc.).

· Experience in food & beverage, agriculture, or critical infrastructure.

· Confined space, working at heights, or other relevant site tickets.

· Current CPR/LVR and First Aid certifications.
