ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an organised, driven and creative Head Chef to oversee kitchen operations, maintain high culinary standards, and provide a quality cafe experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service
  • Manage stock, ordering, and inventory to control costs
  • Lead, train, and mentor the kitchen team
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene
  • Collaborate with the management team to plan menus and specials
  • Manage BOH rostering

ABOUT YOU: An obsession with the Melbourne cafe scene is both favourable and lowkey essential. We are also looking for:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, ideally as a Head Chef or Senior Chef
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills
  • Passionate about food and committed to delivering excellence
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and compliance
  • Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment
