Who we are

Think Safety is a successful locally owned business that has been in operation for over 20 years. We specialise in helping local customers both large and small to keep safe through the provision of safety equipment, PPE, workwear and work boots. Think Safety offers a comprehensive range off quality brands such as Mongrel, Steel Blue, Bisley and FXD. We also specialise in garment decoration and offer inhouse embroidery and vinyl application

The Role

Reporting to the Store manager you will use your clothing sales background and previous experiences to manage the day-to-day operations of the store as well as assist in the management of a small retail team. You will be responsible for ensuring that Think Safety looks great and delivers an exceptional customer service and shopping experience to customers. As part of the management team you will be responsible for the maintenance and continuous improvement in our processes and driving sales in the clothing and garment decoration area.

Key areas of responsibility

  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Create and maintain visual merchandising
  • Drive sales by working collaboratively with customers to understand and satisfy their needs
  • Monitor the end to end process of customer orders
  • Support and guide customer in there garment decoration and design process
  • Assist in the training and development of the retail team
  • Assist with stock control

Desirable skills and attributes

  • Previous experience in retail clothing sales
  • Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to problem solve and build a rapport with customers
  • Self-motivated with a willingness to drive sales and seek business opportunities
  • Possession of visual merchandising skills
  • A desire to be part of a growing organisation
  • A willingness to contribute to a positive, fun business environment
  • Experience in a busy retail environment and leading a team
  • An ability to liaise with suppliers, customers and staff to prioritise and achieve outcomes in a timely manner
  • Skills in the use of POS software and the Microsoft office suite.
  • Experience with Lightspeed and Hoops is highly desirable
  • An ability to work with minimal supervision
