The Role

Due to our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and qualified A-Grade Electrician to join our Electrical team and facilitate electrical works at a major Tertiary Institution in Melbourne.

Essential to this role is a strong electrical understanding, strong interpersonal and communication skills and a HVAC and/or Mechanical background will be advantageous.

Key Competencies

The successful candidate will possess the following:

  • Must hold a current A-grade Electrical Licence
  • Electrical exposure/skills specific to HVAC services (ideal)
  • Electrical fault-finding skills
  • Have a diverse range of skills on domestic/commercial aspects of electrical installations (Refrigeration/HVAC equipment favourable)
  • Perform electrical switchboard retrofit, upgrades or new installations (domestic/commercial).
  • Perform switchboard condition assessments with sound computer literacy to complete required reports and certifications.
  • Have a strong understanding of HSE practices and continual improvement processes.
  • Strong professionalism and presentable appearance.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Hold or willing to gain – Working at heights ticket, EWP license.
  • Be willing to travel from city locations to Bundoora location as required.
