About role:
The role is fixed-term for 9 months and can be located in
Sydney, Australia or Auckland, New Zealand.
The Financial Services Representative plays a critical role in the development of creative IT finance strategies to secure reseller partners, including Value Added Resellers, Systems Integrators, Independent Software Vendors and Managed Service Providers in the technology market who can benefit from innovative ways to solve both their own needs and their customers' global financial solution requirements.

This role will assist the Solution Development Consultant in maintaining and growing existing customer relationships. This individual will also assist in the procedural aspects necessary for small ticket quoting and mid ticket finance opportunity identification, and quote preparation. This role also assists in obtaining, consolidating, and processing required underwriting information to structure, execute, and monitor finance solutions, as necessary, in collaboration with sales, legal, and underwriting teams. The role will support the ANZ region in addition to domestic and global transactions originating from this territory. There will also be the support of projects, transactions and/or enquiries coming from countries outside of the ANZ territory, and the role is responsible for coordinating these enquiries with the local business management and providing support.

Responsibilities, Supporting Actions:
Supports solutions development and IMFS on opportunities to provide financial solutions, as well as, but not limited to:

  • Deliver quotes and discuss opportunity terms
  • Make outbound follow-up calls to existing clients via telephone to cross-sell and up-sell opportunities
  • Expand customer relationships and opportunity volume at targeted accounts
  • Handle inbound, unsolicited prospect calls and convert them into sales.
  • Overcome objections of prospective customers.
  • Collaborate with appropriate Ingram Micro Financial Solutions team members to determine necessary strategic sales approaches
  • Appropriately communicate Ingram Micro Financial Solutions' brand identity and corporate positions
  • Set up and deliver sales presentations
  • Where necessary, support marketing efforts such as trade shows, exhibits, and other events
  • Establish and maintain working relationships with Ingram Micro Financial Solutions team members to ensure efficient closure of finance opportunities
  • Maintain lease records and databases
  • Asset and Lease tracking and updating systems accordingly with associated lease refresh, retirement and disposal requirements where applicable
  • Financial and Pipeline reporting
  • Acting as a liaison to the Ingram Micro services business units and vendors to coordinate and collect services-related components, including pricing and terms
  • Tracking additional distribution business generated from channel finance activity

Essential Skills, Experience & Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of finance and/or leasing industry best practices and how they can be applied to job functions
  • Ability to improve principles, concepts and technologies relevant to the role. Working knowledge of how the position relates to others in the organisation
  • Ability to communicate with several levels of associates internally and externally in an accurate and professional manner
  • Ability to report and project accurately and according to agreed timeframes
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Computer proficiency – Excel (intermediate to advanced level)
  • Knowledge in related finance regulatory rules and legislations (AML/CTF) is highly desired
