About The Role

A move into recruitment lets you leverage your accounting expertise while spending more time engaging with people, building relationships, and guiding professionals through pivotal career decisions. As a recruitment consultant you will see the direct results of your work through successful hires, thriving teams, and growing businesses, all shaped by your insight and expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work in a collaborative, driven, and highly supportive team environment, where the personal rewards closely match your effort and commitment
  • Generate long term revenue streams for the business through networking, promotions, events, and a range of marketing activities
  • Collate talent pools and provide essential support to respected professionals in your area of focus
  • Manage a full end-to-end outsourced recruitment process for your clients, including consulting and guiding them on the best contemporary talent acquisition strategies and resource planning
  • Attend networking events to build and maintain your personal brand as a highly specialised and well-regarded consultant
  • Become deeply embedded in your market though the garnering of ongoing market intelligence and staying in step with the talent landscape in Australia

About You

  • You are tertiary educated and bring a prior career in your intended area of focus, e,g. you are a CA/CPA looking to recruit accounting and finance professionals
  • Highly motivated and with a competitive spirit, you are driven to succeed and are keen to build a long-term career in a new discipline
  • You possess exceptional interpersonal skills and are a natural rapport-builder
  • Attention to detail is a strength, as are your written and verbal communication skills
  • You thrive in a collaborative and driven environment where excellence is pursued, and standards are high
  • You are accountable and enjoy working to structured plans, and can balance short and long-term planning and execution
