KP Architects is a well-established boutique studio with over 25 years of experience as an architectural practice. We have a commitment to quality design outcomes, exceptional service delivery and building strong relationships with all stakeholders.
Most of our current work is centred around hospitality and the creation of social spaces for people to come together and interact. Our projects are often heavily reliant on complex services coordination and intricate interior detailing. Current projects include a variety of bespoke pub refurbishments and new build hospitality venues throughout South East Queensland.

THE ROLE
We are seeking an Architect or Graduate who has completed Masters to fill a permanent full-time position and join our close-knit team. The role offers a great opportunity for someone looking to step up to the next level in their career and help run some exciting key projects. If you are excited by the idea of taking ownership of all aspects of a project, then this is a fantastic opportunity expand your portfolio.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the development and delivery of a range of hospitality projects of various scales and budgets
- Correspond and coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors throughout all stages of the project from inception to completion
- Prepare development applications, building approval documents, and contract documentation packages for tender and construction
- Ensure documentation produced is accurate, meets the client's brief and adheres to relevant authority codes, standards and approvals
- Attend construction site meetings and assist with contract management throughout construction
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
- Minimum 3 years (post-graduation from Masters) experience in an architectural office
- Registration as an Architect in Queensland or a Masters Graduate who is preparing for registration
- Experience in hospitality design is ideal but a passion and interest to work on hospitality projects is essential
- Diligent problem solver with the ability to resolve complex design and construction issues
- Accurate, thorough, and comprehensive documentation and detailing abilities with a stong technical knowledge - Proficiency in REVIT is essential
- The ability to work independently and manage multiple concurrent projects
- Highly motivated individual with excellent organisational and time management skills
- High level of verbal and written communication skills
