The Role

We are looking for caring, reliable, and motivated Support Workers (All-Rounders) to join our growing team. This role is perfect for people who are:

  • Nursing or health/science students wanting hands-on experience in the care sector.
  • Mums returning to the workforce who are seeking meaningful and flexible employment.
  • Those exploring traineeships or starting their career in disability/community care.

We are especially keen to hear from people who want to build a long-term career in care. Flexibility is important — shifts include daytime, evenings, weekends, overnights, and sleepovers. A driver's licence and a reliable car with comprehensive insurance are essential (travel costs are paid).

What You'll Be Doing

As a Support Worker, you'll make a real impact every day by:

  • Assisting participants with daily living (personal care, cooking, cleaning, job applications).

Candidates must be physically capable of heavy lifting as required for daily care assistance tasks.

  • Supporting clients in attending community events, social activities, and appointments.
  • Encouraging independence through skill-building and person-centred care.
  • Providing emotional and social support in a safe, respectful, and culturally sensitive way.
  • Recording accurate progress notes and maintaining effective communication with the team.
Work Location

Toowoomba and surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Requirements

We welcome applicants with a range of experiences and backgrounds. The following are essential:

  • Certificate III in Disability/Community Services/Aged Care OR willingness to complete traineeship.
  • OR current enrolment in a health/science/nursing-related course.
  • Current First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain).
  • Valid driver's licence, reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check and Blue Card (or willingness to obtain).
  • Applicants must be 18 years or older to meet screening and compliance requirements.
  • Good communication skills, empathy, and commitment to person-centred care.
  • Australian citizenship is required for this position.

Experience in mental health or disability support is highly regarded, but we are also open to training the right people who bring passion and commitment.
