About the role
As a People & Culture Business Partner at Cbus, you'll be embedded within our Operations and Technology teams, working closely with senior leaders to drive meaningful people outcomes. This is a true partnering role - strategic, hands-on, and varied. You'll be part of weekly leadership meetings, influencing decisions and helping shape the future of our workforce.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Partnering with leaders
to provide expert advice on performance management, ER/IR, organisational design, and leadership development. - Navigating complexity
, offering practical solutions in a fast-paced, evolving environment. - Building leadership capability
, helping leaders become more confident and effective. - Driving change initiatives
, including organisational design, succession planning, and capability building. - Managing employee lifecycle activities
, including engagement surveys, annual remuneration and performance reviews and return-to-work plans. - Collaborating across the P&C team
to embed Fund-wide strategies and improve consistency in processes and policies.
About you
You're a seasoned HR professional who thrives in dynamic, people-focused environments. You know how to build trust, influence senior stakeholders, and guide leaders through complex challenges with empathy and commercial acumen. You're resilient, adaptable, and confident working in the grey, balancing people needs with business priorities.
- Solid experience as a P&C Business Partner in complex or regulated environments
- Strong ER/IR knowledge, including union and EA exposure
- Ability to influence and coach senior stakeholders
- Experience in organisational design, succession planning and leadership development
- A collaborative, solutions-focused mindset
- Sharp communication and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to adapt and lead through ambiguity
