A well established and thriving transport business is seeking an experienced Warehouse LCL Allocator to join our team based in the western suburbs. This is a full time role working day shift 6am-3pm.

What you'll be doing

  • Allocating drivers
  • Collating loads
  • Register incoming jobs & attach documents into Freight Tracker and spreadsheet
  • Data entry of consignment notes and manifests
  • Inbox Management - For Quarantine & Transport mailboxes
  • Customer Service
  • Obtain releases post fumigation based on completion in spreadsheet
  • Daily Print List for Warehouse Coordinators - last day for each container forecasted for the next 7 days
  • ·Above list to reflect urgent containers
  • Liaising with the client to ensure all deliveries are completed within the agreed timeframes.
  • Booking in deliveries once containers are unpacked.
  • Ensuring the delivery site is aware of incoming delivery and confirm site address to ensure correct loads are booked
  • Managing the life of each job from job alert to dispatch and advising the warehouse coordinator and dispatcher appropriately so they can run their section efficiently.

What we're looking for

  • Warehousing administration and LCL allocation experience
  • Proficient in the Freight Tracker system is highly desirable
  • Excellent multi tasker with a sense of urgency
  • Ability to prioritise effectively and work well in a high pressure environment
