About the role

Seeking an experienced and passionate Barista to join our team in Devonport, Tasmania. This role will see you crafting delicious coffee creations and providing exceptional customer service in a vibrant and friendly cafe environment.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing a wide variety of coffee-based beverages, from classic espresso-based drinks to specialty coffee creations

  • Ensuring the highest standards of coffee quality, taste and presentation

  • Providing outstanding customer service and creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere for all guests

  • Maintaining a clean and organised work station, including regular cleaning and maintenance of coffee equipment

  • Assisting with general café duties as required, such as food preparation, serving customers, and restocking supplies

What we're looking for

  • Prefer barista experience in a fast-paced cafe or coffee shop environment but open to new Baristas

  • A passion for coffee and the ability to expertly prepare a range of coffee-based drinks

  • Strong customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanour

  • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities to work efficiently in a busy cafe

  • A flexible and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to thrive in a team environment

  • Relevant barista or food service qualifications would be highly regarded
