We are hiring for a full-time experiencedBarista to join our Devonport Store Café

If you have Barista experience, are keen to learn, have a can-do attitude and are available during the daytime, we would love to hear from you

This is a casual role, however has the potential to be a part or full time role in the future.

You will need:

- A friendly attitude and good communication skills to provide the attentive customer service Hill Street is known for.
- Proven Barista experience.
- A love of working with food and people (both colleaguesand customers)
- Energy, initiative and willingnessto take direction.
- The ability to follow company procedures and regulations, particularly regarding food handling and workplace health and safety.
- Ongoing daytime availability on at least 3-4 days per week and every second weekend. Ideally available for 20-30 hours per week. Your standard roster will be agreed based on your availability and our operational requirements, with flexibility to suit your needs.
- Physical fitness for lifting and standing.

Pay rates are set by the General Retail Industry Award. The 2024-25 base hourly pay rates for level 1 adults are:

Full-time & part-time

- Weekdays $25.65
- Saturday $32.06
- Sunday $38.48

Casual

- Weekdays $32.06
- Saturday $38.48
- Sunday $44.89

Additional penalty rates apply to public holidays and some overtime and early morning shifts. Please view the full Award for all applicable rates and allowances.
