About the role

We are offering an opportunity for the right Support Worker to have steady and reliable work. You must have a genuine care and interest for people with disability. You will be working in the Campbelltown LGA. Please note this is a community position not in a group home setting

You must have minimum 15 hours avalible

Key Responsibilities

  • Support to access the community and attend appointments
  • Provide assistance with selfcare
  • Monitoring participants wellbeing
  • Track and document an individual's progress through detailed note keeping

Skills & Experience

  • Cert 3 in individual care or equivalent
  • PEG feeding experience desirable or willing to learn
  • Current Australian Drivers License - must hold a full driver license
  • A genuine care and interest in supporting people with disability
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with both participants and families.
  • Must experience working in the disability sector
  • Good communication, verbal and written
  • First aid and CPR

Successful candidates will be required to provide a NDIS worker screening check & WWCC clearance.

Please note: Mandatory COVID-19 vaccinations are required for this position, in accordance with relevant Public Health Orders. Evidance will be requested.
