Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Qualified Diesel Mechanic located in Goondiwindi, QLD. The Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment and vehicles, diagnosing mechanical issues, conducting preventive maintenance, and ensuring overall equipment reliability. The role requires hands-on work with diesel engines and other mechanical components, troubleshooting and solving mechanical problems efficiently.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Vehicle Maintenance and Equipment Maintenance
  • Expertise in Diesel Mechanics and Heavy Equipment handling
  • Experience with Preventive Maintenance techniques
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Relevant certifications or qualifications in mechanical or diesel engineering
  • Previous experience in the agricultural, civil, or mining sectors is a plus
