About the Position

We are seeking casual Educators, who are readily available to be called in to cover staff as needed. The position reports to the Centre Director. As an Early Childhood Educator, you are expected to be an active member of a team which provides high quality early childhood education and care to children.

This includes:

  • Developing strong relationships with children at the service.

  • Developing strong relationships that support and partner with families.

  • Implementing and always uphold the policies and associated procedures and practices of the service; and

  • Working with other staff towards continuous improvement in all areas of the service's operations and service.

  • Quality care is provided to meet the individual and group needs of young children in a respectful, supportive, equitable and inclusive manner.

  • A vibrant, interesting, varied, and appropriate children's program is developed and implemented to meet the ongoing needs of the children, in accordance with the Early Years Learning Framework.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Diploma or Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education and Care.

  • Demonstrated and extensive knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards and Education and Care Services National Regulations.

  • High level of communication skills

  • Excellent personal presentation

  • Confidence working with families and the local community

  • Current Working with Children check

  • Current CPR and First Aid Certificates
