We are now recruiting a Full Time Early Childhood Teacher, to teach our future leaders at our BRAND NEW Multi-Storey Centre at Camden Park.

Our Centre

Westcare Early Learning Centre is a family-owned and run business that is expanding into the market. This is our 2nd Centre organisation that provides quality education and care for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years in a purpose built Centre.

Westcare Early Learning Centre provides a holistic educational program that is structured around the Montessori Curriculum areas including,

  • Practical Life
  • Sensory experiences
  • Mathematics
  • Culture
  • Language

Which aligns with and is governed by the Early years Learning framework. (EYLF)

Westcare ELC Camden Park is a brand new Multi-storey Centre located on Anzac Highway just 14 minutes from the CBD and 8 minutes from Glenelg, with easy access to pubic transport and onsite parking.

We have now been open for 6 months and need to expand our team

Westcare ELC is now recruiting a highly motivated Full-time Early Childhood Teacher that is passionate and enthusiastic about Early Years Education to join our new team and positive work culture.

In this role

You will be implementing a Montessori Curriculum and pedagogy tailored to the development needs of the children by creating a safe, supportive and enriching environment that encourages independence while observing and assessing children's progress and development.

Job Requirements

  • Montessori experience is preferred but not essential
  • Bachelor of Early Childhood
  • Current WWCC
  • Current First aid/CPR, Asthma and anaphylaxis certificate
  • Child safe environments "Through Their eyes" Certificate
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Have a good understanding of the national quality framework and Australian curriculum
