Community Occupational Therapist: NDIS and Support At Home

McArthur are searching for an Occupational Therapist who is dedicated to providing outstanding care to both paediatric and elderly clients, assisting them with regaining their independence in their homes. You will provide high-quality occupational therapy services to support clients' functional independence, safety, and well being across community, aged care, and NDIS settings. We are encouraging newly grads with community home assessment experience to apply.

About the role:
  • Conduct functional, cognitive, ADL, and home safety assessments
  • Deliver goal-oriented therapy and rehabilitation programs
  • Complete home modification assessments and documentation (minor and complex)
  • Prescribe assistive technology and prepare AT reports
  • Maintain compliant, timely clinical documentation
  • Collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams
  • Provide culturally responsive, person-centred care, including Mandarin-speaking clients
What you'll need:
  • Bachelor or Master of Occupational Therapy
  • NDIS and Support at Home experience
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Home modification experience
  • Fluent spoken Mandarin
  • Driver's licence and reliable vehicle
  • Police Check, WWCC, NDIS Worker Screening (if applicable)
  • Up-to-date immunisations
