HME Maintenance Planner

We are currently seeking an experienced HME Maintenance Planner to join our high-performing maintenance team in a site-based role. This critical position is responsible for delivering effective maintenance planning, scheduling, and defect management processes to ensure optimal asset performance, cost efficiency, and adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, schedule, and manage short and long-term maintenance plans for mobile fleet
• Plan and coordinate preventive, corrective, and statutory maintenance activities
• Monitor and action defect reports, ensuring timely processing, work order creation, and close-out
• Collaborate with supervisors, technicians, and OEMs to ensure effective planning and resource allocation
• Track maintenance KPIs, backlog, and equipment downtime to drive improvements
• Ensure accurate and timely data entry into CMMS
• Drive compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards

About You:

• Trade qualification or relevant mechanical/maintenance background
• Demonstrated experience with mobile mining equipment (e.g. trucks, loaders, graders, drills, excavators)
• Strong understanding of defect management processes and maintenance planning best practices
• Proficiency in maintenance management systems (SAP, Pronto, etc.)
• Excellent time management, coordination, and communication skills
• A commitment to safety, reliability, and continuous improvement
