About the Role

Join our thriving team as a Truck Driver, where we welcome individuals with no truck driving experience We're committed to offering comprehensive training and support to the right person. 

The role will be Monday – Friday, with additional overtime on occasion.

Your new role will include:

  • Ensuring deliveries are on time
  • Delivering food products to the food service customers in the Sydney metro area
  • Regularly lifting cartons weighing 15 – 20kg
  • Maintaining professional and friendly customer service to all BEC customers
  • Assist other team members, when necessary, to load their vehicles
  • Cross checking all freight being loaded against the load sheet
  • Load the truck in reverse order, following the LIFO process
  • Ensuring that the load is safe and secure, ready for transit
  • Ensuring the truck is kept clean and tidy and maintained properly

About You

We are looking for a motivated individual with an impeccable driving history.

This role will suit someone who is organised, results driven and looking for a long-term opportunity within a supportive and friendly organisation.

We will provide training and organise a licence for the right candidate.

We are ideally looking for the following key skills:

  • No previous truck driving experience required - we welcome enthusiastic drivers
  • A current unrestricted driver's licence and a commitment to obtaining a MR/HR licence 
  • A clean RTA record
  • Thorough knowledge of the Sydney CBD
  • This role requires someone physically fit as regular lifting of 15 – 20 kg cartons occur frequently
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Previous experience in the fresh food industry will be looked upon favourably
