About the role

Robot Lawn Mowers Australia is seeking a full-time Web Developer / Social Media coordinator to join our team in Underwood, Queensland. In this position, you will be responsible for creating and implementing web content and overall website structure on our wordpress website using Elementor and creating engaging social media content with AI generator and schedule.

The is a full time roll, with all work completed at our office in Underwood.

What you'll be doing

  • Update our company website with new content. This website is genarally in constant developement and imporvment.
  • Devolop and implement templates on the website with best practices.
  • Generate and implement brand and product specific content for the website.
  • Liase and work with our web hosting provider to maintaint the website performance, ensuring it is user-friendly and speed optimised.
  • Develop and execute social media strategies across multiple platforms to increase brand awareness and sales.
  • Create compelling visual and written content for our social media channels typically using AI generators.
  • Record and edit basic video content for social channels including YouTube.
  • Monitor and analyse social media performance, providing recommendations for improvement
  • Collaborate with the management team to align digital content with overall marketing strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media and web development trends and best practices

What we're looking for

  • 1-2 years of experience in web development, preferably with Elementor and WordPress (or willingness to learn)
  • Strong writing and content creation skills, with a keen eye for design
  • Proficiency in popular social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok)
  • Basic understanding of AI content platforms (e.g., ChatGPT, Canva AI, or similar) and prompt writing
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to have or learn basic video editing skills
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Understanding of WordPress fundamentals and website maintenance
  • Australian citizenship, or permanent residency.
