Production Team Leader – Yennora, NSW

The Role:
  • Lead, motivate, and support a team of pickers and packers, including agency staff, across multiple product lines
  • Take full responsibility for the repacking area in the absence of the Production Supervisor
  • Supervise packing operations, including training, scheduling, and performance management
  • Maintain safe, clean, and efficient work areas while meeting quality and compliance standards
  • Balance workflows across packing lines to reduce downtime and bottlenecks
  • Resolve line-related issues such as machinery breakdowns, staffing gaps, or quality concerns
  • Optimise daily schedules and workloads to ensure timely and accurate order completion
  • Support a positive team culture and collaborate with cross-functional teams

About You:
  • 3+ years' experience in repacking, production, or manufacturing environments
  • Proven leadership or operational management experience; supervisory, team leader, or 2IC roles preferred but not essential
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient or willing to learn repack planning and scheduling systems (e.g., MS Office Suite, Deputy, Employment Hero, WMS)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing production needs
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to make decisions under pressure
  • Approachable, collaborative, and able to engage effectively with staff and stakeholders
