Specialised Mechanical Fitters/ Technicians (ABN) – Shutdown work

Technical Maintenance Support is an independently owned and operated progressive company based in Geraldton with branches in Perth and Kalgoorlie, Western Australia. As shutdown activity ramps up, we're on the lookout for skilled team players ready to jump into action and deliver results,

We conduct a wide variety of specialised services, mostly to fixed plant mining equipment throughout the Midwest and Pilbara.

The Role :

We are currently seeking mine site experienced, trade qualified Mechanical Fitters with their own ABN to join our team for upcoming shutdowns across multiple sites.

This is a great opportunity for skilled tradespeople who enjoy fast paced work, variety and excellent rates.

To be considered a suitable applicant you will require the following:

  • Competitive hourly rates (ABN)
  • Variety of shutdown projects across different sites
  • Flexible and ongoing work opportunities
  • Great team environment.
  • Australian recognised Mechanical Fitter Trade qualifications
  • Current White card
  • Drivers Licence
  • Confined Space and Working at Heights - Within 2 years of completion
  • Current Police Clearance - within 12 months
  • High Risk Work Licence
  • Ability to work with others in a team environment
  • Experienced with mine site environments, fixed plant shutdowns
  • Commitment to working safely
  • Must be flexible and can mobilise at short notice (travel to and from site is co-ordinated by the employer and travel time paid)
  • Must be reliable, have a strong work ethic and be physically fit
  • Own basic hand tools

All successful applicants will be required to complete a Drug & Alcohol screening (DAS) prior to commencing employment.
