Hospital Pharmacist – Full Time (Permanent)

We're currently seeking a full-time pharmacist to join our team at HPS Darlinghurst, supporting pharmacy services at St Vincent's Private Hospital—a 310-bed tertiary hospital specialising in Cardiac Surgery, Urology, Orthopaedics, Neurosurgery, and Young Adult Mental Health, HPS Darlinghurst also provides services to our Public Hospital partners.

About the Role

As a Hospital Pharmacist, you'll be part of a dynamic and supportive team delivering high-quality, patient-centred care. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Dispensing and supplying medications in line with legal and professional standards
  • Participating in clinical ward rounds
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to optimise patient outcomes
  • Supporting oncology and clinical trial pharmacy services (training provided)

This role involves working across a 76-hour fortnight, including 1–2 weekend shifts per month.

Hours of operation:

Monday–Friday: 8:30am – 8:00pm

Saturday–Sunday: 8:30am – 5:00pm

What You'll Need

  • Current AHPRA registration as a pharmacist
  • Preferable 2 years' experience in pharmacy practice (not mandatory)
  • Strong knowledge of PBS and dispensary workflows
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritise workload
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Recent hospital experience is preferred but not required
