So who are we?
- We are a team of passionate AEP's that put clinical excellence into practice every day and we have a bloody good time while we do it Ever improving, we aim to help as many individuals as possible attain a better quality of life by teaching and training physical efficiency and supportive lifestyle choices. We genuinely care about those we treat, and we refuse to settle for cookie cutter programs or advice, going the extra mile to service our customers. Put simply, our clients know they are seen, heard and valued.
A day in the life at Achieve:
- First, coffee… always
- Performing assessments and medical screening on new clientele with varied presentations, including (but certainly not limited to) musculoskeletal rehab., metabolic diseases, neurological conditions, and ageing populations.
- Recording treatment and prescribing programs using the latest technology and software – you'll be given an iPad to treat, prescribe, and report on the go.
- Access to, and support from senior leadership to guide you clinically, to excel in creative and innovative evidence based practice.
- Always observing, always assessing, and responding accordingly to ensure the highest quality prescription, and progression toward client and clinician goals.
- Liaising with other treating professionals and care stakeholders, facilitating effective collaborative practice to ensure the best treatment outcomes for our clients.
Working as part of our client-based clinical team of Exercise Physiologists, this role will suit someone who is currently studying towards their Bachelor or Masters of Exercise Physiology. It will give you the opportunity to apply the skills you are studying in a supportive environment of experienced therapists while making a significant difference in the lives of our clients. There is the potential to transition into a full-time permanent role upon graduation.
What do we want to know about you and your experience?
- Do you pride yourself on graduating with exceptional clinical knowledge, setting a high bar for yourself, but know you have SO much more to learn?
- Are you willing to be coached and mentored, sometimes pushing you out of your comfort zone, to be the best AEP and communicator that you can be?
- Do you have knowledge and skills suited to service a varied client base described above?
- Can you manage your time wisely to ensure a high standard of customer service is upheld and delivered?
- Do you know how to listen to your clients, and use what they say to inform your assessments and prescription, all the while building rapport comfortably?
- Do you have a proven ability to meet firm deadlines set by you or for you?
