At Tile Touch & Touch Surfaces
, we specialise in architectural tiles and surface solutions sourced from Italy, Japan, Spain, and beyond. We're not a traditional tile shop — we're a design-led, detail-focused studio working closely with Australia's leading architects, designers, and builders. Our beautiful 330sqm showroom in Waterloo serves as a space for inspiration, collaboration, and genuine connection.
As we continue to grow, we're looking for a warm, organised and proactive
Showroom Sales & Admin Assistant
to join our team — someone who can manage day-to-day customer needs, keep the showroom running smoothly, and help us deliver a professional, polished experience from first contact to final delivery.
What You'll Be Doing
- Welcoming customers and helping them navigate our product offering in the showroom
- Supporting the team with administrative tasks including creating purchase orders, liaising with suppliers, and managing customer enquiries
- Answering phone calls, responding to emails, and helping customers with sales or service queries
- Booking couriers and working with our suppliers to confirm order dimensions, delivery details, and logistics
- Maintaining our website product listings (basic updates to stock, imagery, and information)
- Keeping samples updated and the showroom tidy, presentable, and inspiring
- Using tools like Freshdesk to stay on top of customer support tickets
- Assisting the Director with various operational and day-to-day business tasks
What You're Good At
- You've got great attention to detail and a can-do attitude
- You're friendly, professional, and confident communicating both in person and over the phone
- You're comfortable with basic computer tasks (Microsoft Office, email, web-based systems)
- You're organised and like keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes
- You're someone who shows up on time and follows through
- You don't need micromanaging — you take initiative and enjoy learning new things
- Bonus if you've worked in customer service, admin, or retail (especially interiors/design), but not essential
