About the Role
The Senior Service Delivery Specialist leads the coordination and management of resources to ensure consistent and effective IDS service delivery across Flinders City Campus throughout the year, collaborating closely with City Campus Services and IDS leadership to proactively adapt services in response to evolving needs, emerging trends, and usage patterns.
This is a hands-on role, and a genuine opportunity to take a leap into a leadership position. While there are no direct reports, you will be required to coordinate with multiple members to ensure delivery of integrated and responsive solutions to students and staff members alike.
The key responsibilities of this role are:
- Technical Management & Support - Leading the day-to-day operations of the IDS City Campus service.
- Vision & Roadmap of IDS vision - Maintaining an awareness and understanding of IDS vision, strategies and policies.
- Knowledge & Excellence -Providing timely and effective advice and support to customers and stakeholders by identifying improvements to support services
- Risk, Governance & Ways of Working - Monitoring trends in incidents and problems against enterprise issues and risks and compliance.

About You
With a tertiary qualification in Information Technology or relevant technical area, and / or equivalent relevant experience in an IT environment, you have a broad knowledge of ICT frameworks including change control, incident and problem management principles and an understanding of risk management and the interaction of technical systems.
You are confident with technology, both general IT and AV, and possess exemplary communication and interpersonal skills. Keys to success in this role include:
- Previous success co-ordinating teams within a service delivery context.
- Experience in dealing with stakeholder/customer relationships and expectations.
- A broad knowledge of ICT technologies such as Windows and MAC endpoints, M365, Audio Visual systems and experience of this support in-line with change control, incident and problem management principles

Information and Digital Services (IDS) are a pivotal resource of the University, providing information and digital technology services and support to the Flinders University staff and student community. The IDS team apply technical expertise to support university projects and provide core services such as the IDS Service Desk, Audio Visual, Simulation and Event Services, Information Security and Identity Access Management services, and more.
