Are you ready to make a significant impact in the energy sector? We have an exciting opportunity for a Pricing Analyst in our Brisbane team on a 12-month contract. In this role, you'll manage the workflow of customer pricing requests across diverse markets including Commercial & Industrial Electricity, Gas and SME while collaborating closely with our dynamic sales team.

This role is ideal for the numerate and analytical, who strive for detailed knowledge and understanding in a critical component of the business.

With respect, integrity and honesty, responsibilities include:

  • Respond to pricing requests and maintain pricing models.

  • Prepare and verify pricing using in-house tools and models.

  • Review and amend offerings to ensure competitiveness and profitability.

  • Vetting price requests to ensure economic benefit and liaising with the trading team.

  • Maintain compliance by updating regulatory and pricing-related information.

Here's what you'll need to thrive in this role:

  • Excellent attention to detail;

  • Ability to perform under pressure and deliver commercially sound outcomes; and

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Knowledge or experience with the National Electricity Market (NEM) is desirable but not essential;

  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and knowledge of Visual Basic Application (VBA) /SQL would be highly regarded;

  • Excellent organisational skills and time management.
