We're looking for a Creative Video Editor with 2 - 4 years' professional experienc

, a keen creative eye, and the organisational skills to manage multiple edits at once.

At Vidico, we produce stunning creative content for global brands like TikTok, Square, Spotify, and Deloitte. Our videos and campaigns have set benchmarks in the industry, garnering over 1.3 billion views globally.

This role is a hybrid-role, based in Fitzroy, Melbourne.

As a Video Editor, you will:

  • Edit engaging video content for advertising, marketing, and brand campaigns.
  • Adapt video content for different social platforms, including ratio adjustments, cutdowns, and versioning.
  • Stay up-to-date with content trends to ensure every edit resonates with target audiences.
  • Collaborate with producers, directors, and creatives to align visuals, story flow, and brand messaging.

If you were with us last week, you would have:

  • Created a series of cutdowns and social edits for a campaign that went live across TikTok and Instagram.
  • Fine-tuned the pacing of a product demo to keep viewers engaged and clearly convey the key selling points.
  • Apply colour grading, sound design, and visual effects to elevate the final product.
  • Worked closely with the creative team to add stylish transitions and on-brand graphics to a brand launch video.

Skills, Education & Experience Requirements:

  • 2–4+ years' experience in a video editing / content creation role.
  • A strong portfolio of commercial or branded content and passion for storytelling in the commercial content space.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects & Audition) is essential.
  • Motion design experience will be viewed favourably
  • Ability to identify and utilise the latest social media and content trends.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to handle multiple edits and revisions simultaneously.
