Our client is an industry-leading building regulations consultancy working across the strata, commercial, and residential sectors. We support projects throughout the entire construction lifecycle-from development to defect identification and remediation.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead and manage Class 2-9 building projects.
  • Conduct BCA and Access assessments and inspections.
  • Identify defects and non-compliances under the Home Building Act.
  • Prepare detailed reports and provide expert advice to clients and stakeholders.
  • Create fee proposals, project documentation, and fire safety certifications.
  • Supervise defect rectification works and ensure compliance with Australian Standards.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative team culture.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years (Consultant) or 5+ years (Senior Consultant) experience in Building Regulations.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Building & Construction.
  • Strong knowledge of BCA, Australian Standards, EP&A Act, and Home Building Act.
  • Excellent inspection and reporting skills.
  • High computer literacy and strong communication skills.
  • Current Class C Driver's Licence.
  • A proactive mindset and a genuine interest in improving the built environment.
