Solutions Architect
We're seeking a strategic and forward-thinking Solutions Architect to lead the design and evolution of our enterprise architecture portfolio. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on solving complex challenges, shaping scalable systems, and driving innovation across business and technology domains.
About the Role
As a Solutions Architect, you will proactively and holistically guide the development and management of a portfolio of solutions. These include projects and products, systems (applications, technologies, processes, and information), shared infrastructure services, and shared application services. You'll play a critical role in aligning technology with business strategy and ensuring our solutions remain robust, relevant, and future-ready.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate business and technical requirements into architectural blueprints that support strategic objectives
- Document solution architecture design and analysis work with clarity and precision
- Collaborate with product owners and managers to maintain a strong architectural runway throughout the product lifecycle
- Monitor the current-state solution portfolio to identify technology gaps and misalignments
- Track macro and micro trends in enterprise architecture and global currents to inform decision-making
- Lead evaluation, design, and implementation of solution architectures across business applications and technologies
- Manage and develop architecture across a broader scope of projects, coordinating with application architects on individual initiatives
About You
- Minimum five years of experience in at least two IT solution development disciplines (e.g., infrastructure architecture, network management, application development, middleware, database management, cloud development)
- Background in banking or non-bank financial services
- Familiarity with lending, deposits, payments, and digital functions
- Proven ability to develop architecture blueprints, strategies, and roadmaps
- Comfortable presenting to senior executives and technical audiences
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, systems analysis, or equivalent experience
- Exposure to diverse technologies, platforms, and processing environments
- Strong grasp of strategic and emerging technology trends and their practical applications
- Solid understanding of product management, agile methodologies, and the ability to support agile teams by advising on opportunities, risks, and technical debt
