We're looking for a highly skilled and strategic leader to take on the role of Head of Transmission Customers & Growth and drive our transmission customer strategy and growth agenda.
The role will be responsible for:
- Leading a high-performing team, to manage existing transmission customers and promote new connections.
- Provide strategic technical and commercial advice on transmission connections and regulatory frameworks.
- Build strong partnerships with customers, government and industry to deliver growth and investment through collaboration and influence.
- Oversee key customer and commercial agreements, ensuring compliance, risk management and opportunity realisation.
- Contribute to policy and advocacy to support major energy investment in Tasmania.
About you
You are an influential and strategic leader with a deep understanding of the Australian energy industry, the National Electricity Market and the transmission regulatory environment. You bring a proven ability to shape strategy, influence policy and drive commercial outcomes in a complex, regulated environment.
To succeed in this role, you'll have:
- A Bachelor's degree in business, commerce, or a related field.
- Demonstrated capability to lead, inspire and develop high-performing teams.
- Demonstrated success in stakeholder engagement, policy advocacy and driving cultural change.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to lead complex conversations.
- A proven ability to influence, negotiate and deliver results.
- Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to analyse trends, set financial targets and drive effective strategies.
- A collaborative, adaptable approach, with the ability to balance customer, regulatory and business outcomes.
