About the role

BaptistCare George Forbes House is seeking experienced Catering assistant with meal preparation and service delivery during mealtimes. All meals are cooked fresh onsite by our professional catering team, with a variety of nutritionally balanced menu options available each day.

As a Kitchen Hand/Catering, your duties will include:

  • Serve food and beverages
  • Clean kitchen/dining/café areas and equipment
  • Take orders and operate POS and EFTPOS systems (if applicable)
  • Assist with food preparation and reheating meals
  • Ensure meals are delivered correctly and on time
  • Cater to dietary requirements and follow the site Food Safety Program

About You:

  • Experience working with food and cleaning chemicals
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure with empathy and patience
  • Understanding of and alignment with our values
