Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Geelong, VIC, for a Psychologist. The primary responsibilities include conducting psychological assessments, providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, and supporting clients in their mental health journey. The Psychologist will create and implement treatment plans, carry out counseling sessions, and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and optimal outcomes for patients.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Psychology and Mental Health, including a deep understanding of therapeutic approaches and mental health conditions.
  • Experience in Counseling and Psychological Assessment to provide personalized care and develop tailored treatment plans for clients.
  • Background knowledge or experience in Medicine that contributes to a holistic approach to mental health care is advantageous.
  • Possession of relevant professional qualifications and accreditation in Psychology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and collaborate with team members effectively.
  • Proven ability to manage caseloads efficiently while maintaining high standards of care.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated on advancements in mental health practices.
