ABOUT OORANGA

Ooranga is a very special community managed organisation providing mobile supported playgroup, preschool, and toy library services to rural and remote communities. Whilst the head office is located in Gunnedah, Ooranga's deliver services to rural and regional communities across four Local Government Areas.

People who are fortunate enough to join our team at Ooranga enjoy and stay. We now have a unique opportunity to recruit someone for the role of Early Education Teacher.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

The role is a key leadership role and provides guidance, mentoring and support to a talented team of Early Childhood Teachers.

We will miss our current Educational Leader who has been an integral part of our team for a long time however this creates an exciting opportunity for people seeking to join a team where your work, ideas and contributions are valued. Ooranga have a strong focus on educator and team well-being.

The role is permanent part time (30 hours per week) which can be flexibly worked over four or five days per week.  Salary will align with your experience, skills and qualifications and an Educational Leader Allowance apply.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

You will need relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA recognised) and ideally ECT qualifications and experience in a Nominated Supervisor role and experience in a similar role would be ideal.

You would also need to be living in, or seeking to relocate to, Gunnedah or region.
