Role Summary:

As an internal Multi Trade/ Tiler, you will be responsible for a range of tasks, from prepping and waterproofing surfaces to tiling, and some multi-trade repairs. You'll play an essential role in ensuring our projects meet the highest standards of quality and durability. This role will service Townsville through to Ingham. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tiling & Waterproofing: Prepare surfaces, apply waterproofing membranes, install tiles with precision, and finish with grouting and sealing for long-lasting quality.
  • Repair & Maintenance: Assess and repair any damages to tiles, waterproofing, elements, and perform preventive maintenance as required.
  • On-Site Problem Solving: Use your multi-trade skills to adapt to and resolve on-site challenges, ensuring smooth and timely project completion.
  • Carpentry: Build, repair, and maintain wooden structures, frameworks, and fittings to high standards.
  • General Repairs: Address diverse property repair needs, maintaining safety, functionality, and aesthetics.
  • Project Management: Oversee multi-trade projects from start to finish, coordinating tasks, materials, and timelines.
  • Quoting: Provide accurate cost estimates for materials and labour.
  • Workmanship: Maintain high standards of quality and ensure all work meets or exceeds industry standards.
  • Adaptability: Transition seamlessly between various trades and tasks, managing workloads effectively.
  • Tool Management: Supply and maintain personal trade tools to support efficient job completion.
  • Documentation: Keep accurate records of work, materials used, and timelines.
  • Customer Interaction: Maintain professionalism and courtesy with clients and colleagues.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures in line with company and statutory guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Manual Driver License
  • Forklift License desirable, not mandatory
  • White Card
  • Proven experience as a Tiler, Waterproofer, multi-trade experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of tiling techniques, waterproofing materials, and application processes.
  • Ability to perform basic tasks in other trades.
  • Attention to detail, commitment to high-quality work, and problem-solving skills.
  • Relevant certifications or training in tiling, waterproofing, and carpentry are a plus.
