Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Principal with a specialization in Cyber Resilience and TVM to lead and advance our organization's strategies and capabilities in protecting against and recovering from cyber threats. This role involves designing and implementing comprehensive resilience frameworks, assessing risk and vulnerabilities, and ensuring our cybersecurity posture aligns with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
Security Principals lead the day-to-day delivery and growth of Solutions Consulting for large, complex organizations. They drive material business cases that generate significant, transformational work. This requires building strong relationships with customers by understanding their needs, helping to shape their technology and business solutions, and bringing the best of WWT to address their most critical business issues. You will provide strategic leadership and technical expertise in cybersecurity, guiding clients and internal teams in developing and implementing robust security solutions. You will drive innovation, oversee complex projects, and serve as a subject matter expert on cybersecurity practices and emerging threats.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategies to enhance the customer's cyber resilience, including prevention, detection, response, and recovery measures.
- Lead and mentor a team of cybersecurity professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify and address potential threats and weaknesses.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement incident response and business continuity plans.
- Evaluate customer's emerging threats and cybersecurity trends to adapt strategies and technologies.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards and prepare reports for senior management and regulatory bodies.
- Oversee the development and execution of tabletop exercises and simulations to test resilience capabilities.
Essential Functions:
- Work as part of a core team serving WWT's customers, including Consulting Services, Enterprise Architects, Managing Directors and Account Managers. They are responsible for Project Ownership and End Products, and contribute to the analysis, design, and implementation of business performance to ensure positive impact and sustainable results.
- Lead, manage and develop delivery teams.
- Own the problem statement for the customers as leader of day-to-day services delivery.
- Own the documentation and organization responsibilities around complex projects, delivering strong analytical, quantitative and conceptual thinking skills and effective interpersonal and communication skills to ensure successful client projects & team performance.
- Serve as the "face" of the WWT Solutions practice to both the internal WWT office and external customers.
- Work with the WWT account teams to educate them and help drive business development and sales.
- Forge a niche and demonstrate thought leadership to develop a market position and build WWT's offerings.
- Actively pursue business opportunities at large, complex customers; work with clients and internal WWT Teams to develop and negotiate statements of work, including project scope, deliverables, timelines and costs.
- Understand customer needs and make recommendations at the BU/Division Head levels.
- Understand the breadth of what we sell so that we are bringing the best of WWT to the customer through introducing and selling cross business services that help expand WWT's footprint.
- Manage and develop junior team members.
- Lead marketing efforts in the region to new/existing customers, including writing white papers, attending and presenting at conferences.
- Develop strong relationships with WWT's core technology partners.
- Achieve revenue and profit growth for the practice.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
10-15 years of experience in cybersecurity, with significant experience in leadership and strategic roles.
Proven track record of designing and implementing effective cyber resilience strategies and frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to interact with senior executives and stakeholders.
- Analytical and critical thinking skills to assess complex cybersecurity issues and develop effective solutions.
Proficiency in managing large-scale cybersecurity projects, including scope, budget, and timeline management.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA) are highly desirable.
