The Fraternity Club is a vibrant social hub on the outskirts of Wollongong's CBD. With a cosmopolitan feel and a strong community presence, we offer a unique experience in a competitive hospitality market.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Handyperson to join our maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for the general maintenance and upkeep of multiple venues, ensuring everything runs smoothly and safely for daily operations.

This role is generally Monday to Friday, with flexibility for the right applicant to work part-time or full-time.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairing fixtures, equipment and furniture

· Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve maintenance issues

· Carry out basic carpentry, electrical and plumbing repairs as required

· Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities

· Liaise with external contractors for specialized repairs as required

Skills and Experience

Skills required but not limited to include:

· Proven experience and knowledge in general maintenance and repair work (a trade qualification is desirable)

· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

· Excellent communication and time management skills

· Sound understanding of WHS requirements and safe work practices

· Current First Aid certificate (preferred but not essential)

· Valid driver's license
