We're looking for enthusiastic and reliable Part Time Lunch Cover Educators to join our team across our network of Y Kindergartens in Victoria. Whether you're an experienced educator, newly qualified, or currently studying your Certificate III or Diploma, this is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a supportive, values-driven environment.

Where you'll work

Clayton Community Kindergarten is a community-focused, multicultural service with a team of experienced educators who are passionate about inclusion, creativity, and collaboration. We are looking for an educator to join our supportive team and contribute to making our program even stronger, working alongside staff who are committed to fostering meaningful connections with children, families, and the local community.

Role Details:

Certificate III or Diploma Educator

Monday, Tuesday, Friday – 12:00pm to 2:00pm

6 lunch cover hours per week

What You'll Do

As a Lunch Cover Educator, you'll:

  • Support the teaching team during lunch breaks to maintain a caring, safe environment for all children

  • Assist with daily routines, transitions, and supervision across indoor and outdoor play

  • Engage positively with children, helping create a sense of fun and security

  • Work collaboratively with educators and leaders to uphold the Y's standards of excellence and inclusion

What You'll Bring

  • Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or actively studying toward one of these qualifications)

  • Reliability, warmth, and a team-focused attitude

  • Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain)

  • A genuine love for children and a commitment to learning and professional growth
