About the role:
Reporting into the Leader IT Field Services, this position of Analyst IT Infrastructure will be responsible for the information technology infrastructure and services support across our Sydney office. At times, the role will also provide support for the wider APAC region across all domains of IT Infrastructure and other countries in the region. Within Newell Brands ANZ Infrastructure, we are responsible for 40+ locations across the APAC region, supporting 2000 IT users.

What are your responsibilities:
- Effectively adhere to established policy, processes, ensuring adherence to Newell Brands Core values
- Provide IT support, guidance, and direction to all employees across the APAC region and internationally in a prompt and timely manner as required
- Oversee IT Infrastructure Services including workspace destinations, network & security, systems, servers, Microsoft Windows organisation (Active Directory, O365 and associated services), printing and manage access control
- Business Service Support – collaborating with the business units to ensure they have the services, capacity, and tools they need to support their business requirements, reduce costs, improve operational efficiencies, and help grow the business
- Be involved in IT Vendor relationship including operational support, plus contractual and commercial negotiations
- Support for vendor group IT Security Risk Assessments as part of our support for the IT Governance Risk and Compliance organisation.
What you need to be successful for the role:
- Professional approach, with extremely strong interpersonal, written, organisational and verbal communication skills, in a customer-facing environment
- Strong presence and understanding of the English language
- Must show support for team goals, processes, and expectations
- Good working knowledge of IT Infrastructure technologies across all domains – Workspace, Network & Security, Systems & Servers including virtualization technologies, and other associated Infrastructure technology
- Good understanding of IT Security principles and technologies
- Understanding of CLOUD based solutions principles such as the MS Office 365 solution, AWS, MS Azure, and other cloud solutions
- Understanding of different business applications, to improve the level of support and capabilities of the business
- Excellent analytical skills and demonstrated ability to effectively troubleshoot and provide solutions
- Flexibility to respond to unanticipated situations and strong ability to manage multiple demands and establish priorities
- Enthusiastic, reliable and passion for continuous improvement and personal development
- Open to regional travel within New South Wales, as the role will require travel between our Botany office and Minto Warehouse.
