The Senior Manager, Warehouse & Distribution Management, Australia & New Zealand is to provide comprehensive transparency for all levels of area warehouse & distribution costs including labor & capital. The individual is responsible for development of diagnostic benchmarking, assessment of distribution footprint transformation options, identification of operational improvements/savings, and execution of key projects in support of regional W&D strategy. Will coordinate and align with the APAC W&D Director to liaise with the commercial organization to address customer needs through supply chain capabilities.

• Subject matter expert and internal consultant for all warehouse & distribution functions, providing partnership and guidance with Commercial Operations and Supply Chain. Support to local operations in terms of warehousing and distribution processes.
• Key resource for identification/assessment of operational improvements and development of business analysis.
• Lead/support implementation of operational improvements. Development and management of W&D metrics.
• Cost/process optimization and/or footprint/network transformation (relocation, centralization, insourcing/outsourcing, integration).
• Lead/support execution of key projects supporting Region W&D strategy.
• Area Budget management.
• Area People management.
• Any other duties or projects as requested by Line Manager commensurate with the grade and level of responsibility for this role, for which the associate has the necessary experience.

Higher education, degree in science or a business relevant field, university degree or MBA preferred.

• 10 to 15 years of experience in Supply Chain, leading substantial implementation projects.
• Excellent knowledge of Business Processes within the medical device industry, especially regulatory controlled processes within Warehouse & Distribution.
• Intercultural experience and ability to act in a complex and multifunctional and global environment.
• Excellent knowledge of change management.
• Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge.
