Change Manager

Hobart, Tasmania, Australia Southern Cross Care (Tasmania) Inc Full time $104,000 - $160,000 per year

Position Summary

Embedding systemic change is not for the faint-hearted, and this role sits at the very heart of it. We are seeking a Change Manager who thrives in driving complex, enterprise-wide transformation. This is wholesale change, reshaping people, processes, and technology and it's moving fast against the backdrop of major industry reform and a highly litigious environment.

Reporting to the General Manager, Operations Optimisation, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of care across our organisation. You will lead the people-side of change across multiple operational improvement initiatives, embedding sustainable adoption of new systems, processes, and ways of working across the entire business including our corporate shared services and operational areas such as Residential Aged Care, Home Care, and Retirement Living services.

This is not a "hands-off" advisory role, we need someone pragmatic who is willing to get in, get their hands dirty, and bring operational frontline change experience to the table. You will be challenged daily and expected to bring both resilience and a solutions-focused mindset.

Your impact will be felt enterprise-wide: lifting service quality, driving workforce efficiency, strengthening compliance, and most importantly, improving outcomes for the people in our care. If you have the capability and appetite to deliver change at scale in a high-stakes environment, this is your opportunity to make a genuine difference.

About You

You are a seasoned Change Manager who is both strategic and hands-on. You understand that real change doesn't happen from behind a desk, it happens in the frontline, with people, and in the detail of processes and systems.

  • You bring proven experience delivering enterprise-wide change across people, process, and technology.
  • You are pragmatic, resilient, and adaptable, with the ability to navigate ambiguity, competing priorities, and tight timeframes.
  • You thrive under pressure and are comfortable working in fast-paced, reform-driven and regulated environments.
  • You have a strong track record of building trust, engaging stakeholders at all levels, and ensuring change initiatives achieve sustainable adoption and measurable results.
  • Above all, you are motivated by making a difference — ensuring that change improves not just compliance and efficiency, but also the lives of those in our care.

What's on Offer

  • A competitive salary
  • Increase your take home pay through salary packaging by up to $18,550, tax free per FBT year
  • Corporate discounts and cashback through Thrive Perks
  • Reward & Recognition Program
  • Free on-site parking
  • Training and professional development opportunities
  • Discount private health insurance
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
  • Supportive and inclusive team culture
  • Purchased leave scheme

Why Join Us?Imagine working in a supportive, values-driven environment where you can make a genuine difference every day. At SCC, we foster innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement, and we support our people to thrive.
