HSE Advisor – Commercial Construction - TEMP

Location: Dutton Park

Type: Temp Contract (Likely through to Easter, with potential for permanent offer)

Hours: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm

Start: ASAP

We're seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to support a major retail construction and fit-out project currently 70% complete, with handover scheduled for Easter. This role offers a great opportunity to step into a well-run project, work closely with an experienced HSE Manager, and potentially transition into a permanent position if it's the right fit.

The Role You'll support day-to-day site safety across a busy construction environment at Dutton Park. You'll work closely with the HSE Manager, acting as her representative on site when needed.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting site inspections, inductions and general safety support
  • Maintaining and using Hammertech and Procore systems
  • Attending site meetings, toolbox talks and occasional head office team meetings
  • Providing proactive safety guidance and keeping the project team accountable

This role will suit someone confident, collaborative and able to hold their own - someone who can push the team in the right direction, speak up in meetings and represent the HSE function professionally.

What We're Looking For

  • Construction industry experience - preferably commercial
  • Cert IV in Work Health & Safety
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Proactive, confident, and able to influence teams
  • Able to start quickly and learn systems/processes
