About Us: ​​​​A boutique legal practice specialising in corporate, commercial, and technology matters.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented paralegal to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for a law student or recent graduate with an interest in commercial law and business. The successful candidate will assist with various tasks including client communication, drafting of contracts and other legal documents. The successful candidate MUST HAVE experience working in a commercial legal setting previously and be familiar with drafting corporate advice.

Key Responsibilities: 

Drafting of commercial agreements and other contract style documentsAssist with client communication and engagement.Collaborate with the team on projectsProvide administrative support as required.

 

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Currently studying a law degree.Previous experience working in a law firm is highly desirable.Past experience with drafting commercial agreements is IMPERATIVE.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Flexible schedule to accommodate approximately 5 hours of work per week (with low potential for additional hours).Experience with remote work is also viewed favourably or else a willingness to consider this format of work.This position is suited for someone with a full study workload who is seeking to work no more than 2 days per week.
