The Role:

Working at our Southport store you'll report directly to the Butchery Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for the following:

• Preparation of products, including cutting, trimming, and slicing
• Operation of machinery and equipment, including mincer, grinder, and band saw, etc.
• Packing, wrapping, and labeling products (as required)
• Attending to the Gourmet Meat Case, including displaying products, and maintaining presentation
• Providing exemplary customer service, including responding to enquiries and requests
• Maintaining general department cleanliness
• Compliance with all relevant legislation, including Food Safety, Trade Measurement, and Occupational Health & Safety, etc.
• Uphold and maintain all Policies & Procedures, including uniform standards
• Any other tasks as required by the Butchery Manager and Store Manager

About you:

• Trade qualified butcher
• Able to work at least one weekend day
• Proficient in merchandising
• Ability to provide a high-level of customer service
• Highly organised and efficient with a good work ethic
• Ability to work in a fast paced team environment achieving KPI's
• Experience with retail ready products wholesaling would be advantageous
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to adhere to all Policies & Procedures
