About the role

PHACS is on the lookout for a qualified technician with broad experience in service, maintenance, and diagnostics — from domestic to commercial HVAC systems across Victoria.

Your responsibilities/skills

  • Commissioning of services, including VRV systems and central control systems
  • Service of all domestic and commercial HVAC
  • Supervision and training of apprentices
  • Experience in breakdown, repair and preventative maintenance of heating and cooling
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Excellent ability to complete paperwork on time at a high standard (SimPRO knowledge desirable)
  • Daikin system and control experience is desirable; further training will be provided to the successful candidate.
  • Knowledge in Full Function Fire Testing and associated works

Essentials in this role:

  • Australian residents only
  • Current Victorian Drivers Licence
  • OH&S Induction Training for the Construction Industry (White Card)
  • Refrigerant Handling Licence – RAC01
  • Electrical Disconnect/Reconnect Licence (D Licence)
  • Working with Children's Licence
  • Valid Police Check
  • EWP Licence (Not essential but desirable)
