An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Metering Technician to join ServiceStream in our Mornington office.
About the Role

ServiceStream’s Utilities division are currently seeking a Metering Technician to join our growing company. You will be responsible for exchanging and installing a variety of digital electricity meter solutions, including whole current and current transformer meters.

Nature of position: Permanent, Full Time

Location: Mornington, TAS

Reporting Line: Field Supervisor

Key Responsibilities
- Installation and exchange of electricity meters
- Investigate and rectify communication faults
- Meter investigations and meter tests
- Manual meter reads
- Ensure that all tasks undertaken are performed in a manner consistent with OH&S policies and procedures of the company and relevant state and national legislation
- Populate and return all relevant paperwork in a timely manner
- Ensure regular daily contact with supervisor

About You
- Previous experience in the metering field and/or the electrical field is essential
- A Grade electrical licence
- Current drivers licence
- National Police check
- Working with Children check
- UETTDRRF06B - Perform rescue from a live LV panel (LV Rescue)
- HLTAID001 - Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
- HLTAID003 - Provide first aid
- Construction (White) Card
- Relevant Industry training
